Hamood AL-Shidhani is graduated from the physics department at Sultan Qaboos University (Oman). He is one of the international juries chosen by the IAEA for the first international Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO). Also, He was involved in many events hosted by the IAEA such as (EVT 1900680 Group Scientific Visit on Regional Training on Trainors, Manila, Philippines, 20-24 May 2019) and (RAS0079 - Regional Training Course for Teachers to Introduce Nuclear Sciences in Secondary Schools through Innovative Approaches, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on 16 - 27 April 2018). In Oman, he was always involved in events hosted by the Ministry of Education which are related to the peaceful Nuclear Science and Technology (NST) especially in the training done for teachers and students. Since 2010 he is working in the Ministry of Education as a physics teacher.
