Ms. Mendoza is a Senior Science Research Specialist of the Chemistry Research Section of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute. Having finished her doctoral degree in medicine with specialization in chemical biology, her research interests include natural products (mannans), secondary metabolites (vitamin D, biotoxins), and other bioactive sensing molecules (aptamers & modified peptides) with projects and/or papers published on the subjects. She currently leads several projects funded by national & international agencies and in cooperation with various departments (DA, DENR), academe (USA) and industry (TFPI).
