Ms. Cheri Anne M. Dingle is a Senior Science Research Specialist of the Applied Physics Research Section of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute. Currently, she is the project leader of the DOST-funded project titled “Low-Dose Neutron Irradiation System”, which will be used as training and research facility for neutron irradiation studies. She joined PNRI in 2011 and has been involved in neutron studies and in nuclear materials characterization using nuclear analytical techniques. She has made contributions to the fields of radiation physics, neutron dosimetry and nuclear materials characterization, which led to several publications, utility models, capacity building activities and development of a neutron spectrometry system. Her recent interest is in the applications of nuclear techniques for the examination of radioactive materials related to nuclear security. Ms. Dingle holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of the Philippines Baguio and master’s degree in Energy Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
