Day 2: Excursion, Experimental Exam and Board Meeting Photos and Raw Videos

As we continue to inspire brilliance and empower the youth, 55 students rise to the challenge of the experimental exam during the second day of #INSO2024. Competing students were tasked to analyze data and answer questions related to sedimentation patterns in the environment and radiation protection.

Meanwhile, team leaders and dignitaries from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) went on a scenic excursion at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan.

Late in the afternoon, the 1st INSO Scientific Committee led a board meeting with the team leaders of each participating country.

After its successful pioneer run at the New Clark City in the Philippines, the International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO) will hop on to its second leg in Malaysia next year. The Malaysian delegates eagerly received the INSO globe at the Turn-over Ceremony at the close of the first-ever INSO on August 6 at the SMX Convention Center in Clark, Pampanga.

And here at last, the nuclear olympians! Arriving from various parts of the Asia-Pacific region, 55 student contenders from 14 countries will vie for gold at the 1st International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO) held from August 1 to 6 at New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac and at Clark Freeport in Angeles, Pampanga.
